Barton: Oliver Fawcett

I am not a politician, I’m a young, fresh-minded and enthusiastic individual who cares passionately about Barton ward and its constituents.

I stood for election to Canterbury City Council because I think there is a lot of potential here and in the wider Canterbury constituency.

I’m currently in my last year at Canterbury Christ Church University, studying Politics & Global Governance, and I also used to perform regularly at the Marlowe Theatre,  before its refurbishment.

I’m also a reservist for the British Army, and I have worked in many different roles , which I believe helps make me more suitable for the job of representing you.

I can bring a wider set of skills to the table when trying to resolve any issues, and my experience  also means that I can understand your viewpoint and put your thoughts and beliefs in front of my own, meaning you will be truly represented 100%.
