Daniel Hannan

MEP for the South East
Daniel was first elected MEP for the South East region in 1999. He is a member of the Fisheries Committee. Daniel was Special Adviser to the Rt Hon Michael Howard MP from 1997-8, and Director of the European Research Group from 1994-99. He has been a leader-writer for the Daily Telegraph since 1996, and writes a column for the German newspaper Die Welt.

Chestfield: Pat Todd

A retired police officer, married with two adult children and five grandchildren, I have lived and worked in our district for 45 years.

Seasalter: Ashley Clark

Born in Whitstable and educated at Simon Langton Grammar School in Canterbury, Ashley retired from Kent County Constabulary in 2004 as Head of its Frontier Operations Department following some 30 years' service much of which was spent working alongside French counterparts.
