MP for Canterbury meets blind veterans at special tea party

Julian Brazier MP for Canterbury and Whitstable, joined blind veterans at a special House of Commons tea party held by Blind Veterans UK (formerly St Dunstan’s) – the charity for vision impaired ex-Servicemen and women to celebrate its Tarts for Troops fundraising campaign.

Julian is urging his constituents to support Tarts for Troops which kicks off on 29 June – Armed Forces Day, and is about having fun and raising money to support the vital work of Blind Veterans UK. There are many ways that people can get involved with Tarts for Troops. Whether they hold a bake-off, a tarts and tea party, get together with colleagues at work for tarts with their morning coffee, or have friends around for a gourmet tart dinner party.
